Tradition blog

In my family Easter is a big holiday. I grew up in a very christian household and celebrating the day Jesus arose from the grave is very important. The day begins with church services, (for most of them) then back to my sisters house for family time and a big meal. We usually enjoy lamb of some variety, and other various side items, and of course the traditional lamb shaped cake for desert. The real tradition in my family however, is the time spent while this meal is being prepared whether it be helping out in the kitchen, hanging with everyone who is not occupied, or taking care of the kids. Holiday dinners bring out the best and the worst in my family and some are great and others disasterous, but always part of life.
